Start With Your Skin Priorities

One question does most of the work: if your skin could only fix one thing this month, what would it be? Answer that and the menu shrinks to one or two options.

"It just looks tired."

The Classic Facial, $80 for 60 minutes. Deep cleansing, exfoliation, mask, hydration — the full standard sequence, any skin type. This is the right answer far more often than people expect, and it is the one to choose when nothing else on this page sounds exactly like you.

"It feels congested — blackheads, texture, oiliness."

The Deep Cleanse & Hydra Facial, $108 for 90 minutes, for pore cleansing and texture. If breakouts rather than texture are the issue, the Acne Facial at $108 for 90 minutes adds gentle extractions and blemish-targeted products.

"It is dry and tight all winter."

The Deep Cleanse & Hydra Facial again, which is specifically adaptable for dry and very dry skin. In a Michigan January this is our most-booked 90-minute treatment, and it is not a coincidence.

"Dark spots and uneven tone."

The Brighten Facial, $80 for 60 minutes — targeted ingredients for the appearance of dark spots plus texture refinement. For sun damage and mild acne scarring alongside the tone, the Exfoliating Facial at $108 for 90 minutes uses fine crystals as a power peel.

"Fine lines and firmness."

The Anti-Aging Facial, $108 for 90 minutes. Lifting techniques with ingredients aimed at elasticity and glow. Cosmetic, temporary, and pleasant — which is the honest description of every anti-aging facial anywhere, ours included.

"I shave every day and my skin hates it."

The Gentleman's Facial, $90 for 60 minutes: deep cleansing, exfoliating extraction, steam, and moisturising, built around regularly shaved skin.

"I have never had a facial."

The First Time Facial, $75 for 60 minutes. A full 60-minute facial at the first-visit rate so you can find out how your skin responds before committing to anything.

What We Will Ask You

A customised facial starts with about five minutes of questions. None of them are a sales script — each one changes what actually happens in the following hour.

• How does your skin feel by the end of a normal day — tight, oily through the middle, comfortable, or somewhere different in winter than summer?
• What do you use at home, and how often? A three-step routine and a ten-step routine need different treatments on top of them.
• Anything in the last week that made your skin more reactive — a retinoid, an acid, a peel, waxing, a new prescription, or a lot of sun.
• Have you had extractions before, and how did your skin respond afterwards?
• Is there an event coming up, and when?

Answer them honestly rather than the way you think you should. "I have not moisturised in three weeks" is genuinely more useful to your esthetician than a tidier answer, and nobody is keeping score.

Two Things Worth Telling Your Esthetician

First: anything you have used in the last week that makes skin more reactive — retinoids, acids, a recent peel, waxing, or a new prescription. It changes what we can safely do, and it is the single most useful thing you can mention.

Second: whether you have an event coming up. Extractions and exfoliation can leave skin briefly pink. If you are getting married on Saturday, we plan the visit differently than if it is an ordinary Tuesday.

Every facial listed here is cosmetic skincare. None of them diagnoses or treats a medical skin condition. Persistent acne, rosacea, eczema, or anything changing shape or colour belongs with a dermatologist first — we are happy to work alongside their advice afterwards.
